First Peter 3:15
The word apologetics is used in First Peter 3:15. As you can see in the English Standard Version above, the Greek word apologia means “to make a defense”. For Christians, the implication of First Peter 3:15 is that we should each be ready to answer the questions which those who are curious about God, the Bible, and Christianity are asking. Below is a summary of the types of questions which are often asked, and how they can be answered.
